The contract auto-generates with actual booking data and the catering-specific clauses we built (see them on /templates):
- Menu tier (basic / standard / premium) with what’s included spelled out at each tier — entrée options, sides, dessert, beverage service
- Final headcount confirmation deadline (configurable; 7 days default) — final invoice reflects the higher of guaranteed or actual served, no refund for under-count
- Dietary accommodations clause vegetarian, vegan, kosher, halal, gluten-free, nut-free — documented in writing with cross-contact-risk disclosure for severe allergies
- Service window with hot-hold limits 90 min setup before service start, 2 hours hot service window, cleanup terms — matches food-safety regulations
- Leftover policy per FDA guidance hot-held food can’t be released for storage after service; packaged items at vendor discretion — no awkward client conversations day-of
- Equipment included list chafing dishes, serving utensils, beverage dispensers; china, linens, glassware separate unless billed in package
