For virtual assistants

Hours-per-month package.
Scope locked, NDA signed.

VA work is recurring and scope-fluid — clients ask for new task types every month, response-time expectations creep, credentials get shared insecurely. BookNox lets you publish a quote with the hours, the scope boundary, the response SLA, and the NDA all baked in — signed in one link before the first task lands in your queue.

Why VA contracts fall apart

Scope creep + credential sharing + no SLA.

Most VA engagements start with a verbal “sure, I can do that too” and end with the VA working 50 hours a month for a 20-hour package, with a Google Doc somewhere holding all the client’s passwords in plaintext. BookNox enforces the boundary at proposal time: tasks outside the listed scope require a written amendment, credentials get handed off securely, and the response-time SLA is in the contract.

What ships on every booking

VA-specific clauses, generated per booking.

The contract auto-generates with actual booking data and the VA-specific clauses we built (see them on /templates):

  • Contracted hours per month billed monthly in advance; unused hours don’t roll over (so you’re not on the hook for back-pay if a client goes quiet in month 3)
  • Scope of tasks listed explicitly inbox management, calendar coordination, travel booking, social media scheduling, customer-service triage, expense reporting, document formatting — tasks outside require a written scope amendment
  • Response-time SLA acknowledgment within configurable business hours (24 default) during your stated business hours; not on-call outside — written in so client expectations are calibrated upfront
  • Overflow billing rate configurable per-hour rate for work beyond the contracted block, prorated in 15-min increments, requires written pre-approval from client (no surprise invoices)
  • Confidentiality + credentials clause password-manager usage, no credential sharing with third parties, mandatory return/destroy within 7 days of engagement end — protects both parties and your insurance carrier’s requirements
  • Mutual NDA survives termination, covers business information shared during engagement
