A newly-engaged couple sends inquiries to four venues and four planners on the same Sunday. By Friday, they’ve booked a venue, and they want a planner under contract within two weeks so the venue’s in-house team has someone to coordinate with. The planners who reply with “happy to chat” lose to the planners who reply with a real quote + contract + payment schedule.
What ships on every booking
Wedding-planning clauses, generated per booking.
The contract auto-generates with actual booking data and the wedding-specific clauses we built (see them on /templates):
- Service tier (full / partial / day-of) selectable per proposal; the contract spells out exactly what’s in scope for the tier the couple picked
- Vendor coordination scope + day-of timeline delivered no later than 2 weeks before the wedding; detailed planning deliverables (timeline, vendor contact sheet, layout map) documented in the contract
- Rehearsal-dinner coordination (when included) optional add-on with explicit single-event scope — rehearsal timeline, vendor check-ins, seating logistics
- 25 / 25 / 25 / 25 payment milestone schedule upon signing, at planning midpoint (or 6 months from signing), 60 days before, 7 days before — matches how full-service planning revenue actually arrives
- Day-of staffing count + arrival/departure terms configurable coordinator count; standard arrival 90 min before ceremony, departure following final vendor wrap
- Wedding-hardened force-majeure (12-month postponement) pandemic, government-mandated restrictions, natural disaster — deposit applies to the rescheduled date within 12 months of the original (lesson learned from 2020-2023)
