The contract auto-generates with the actual booking data and DJ-specific clauses we built (see them on /templates):
- Set duration + 15-min-increment extension billing — couple knows what overtime costs before the night runs long
- Equipment list locked in writing — mixing console, primary speaker pair, two wireless mics, dance-floor lights, DJ booth. No “wait, where’s the second speaker?”
- Load-in 90 min before / load-out 60 min after spelled out so the venue’s coordinator can plan
- Song requests + 20-song do-not-play list honored absolutely — the awkward family-friction songs never play
- Configurable overtime rate — you set the hourly, the contract enforces written-confirm-before-continuation
- Travel + per-mile mileage clause for gigs outside your normal radius
