Refund policy

This page is a plain-language summary of how refunds work at BookNox (operated by NetNest Design LLC). The full contractual terms live in Terms of Use §4, Payments and refunds; if this summary and the Terms ever differ, the Terms control.

Money back within 14 days

New vendor subscriptions come with a fourteen (14) day refund window from the initial charge. Within that window, if you have not yet used the contract (sent a proposal to a client, or collected a deposit), you can request a refund right from your billing dashboard and your first charge is refunded in full to your original payment method, no email required.

If you have already sent work to a client, or the window has passed, request a refund and we review it by hand. We are reasonable about it. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record for the subscription. Outside the window, refunds are at BookNox’s discretion and may be granted case by case.

Monthly subscription

BookNox is $29/month, flat (what that includes), billed by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe Inc. company) acting as the merchant of record: Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller on each subscription charge, issues your receipt, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. You can cancel anytime in your BookNox dashboard, the same way you signed up. Cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access through the end of the current billing period. Partial months are not prorated after the 14-day window, and cancellation does not refund prior paid periods unless required by law.

Client payments

Deposits and balances your clients pay are handled through your own Stripe account as direct charges: the funds go to you, not BookNox, and BookNox does not unilaterally refund client payments. Refunds to your clients are governed by the signed agreement between you and your client, and you issue them through your own Stripe dashboard under your own cancellation terms.

How to request

The fastest way is the Request a refund button on your billing dashboard, which handles a clean, in-window refund instantly. You can also email hello@booknox.com from the email address on your BookNox account. Approved subscription refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
