Refund policy

This page is a plain-language summary of how refunds work at BookNox (operated by NetNest Design LLC). The full contractual terms live in Terms of Use §4, Payments and refunds; if this summary and the Terms ever differ, the Terms control.

A 14 day refund window

New vendor subscriptions come with a fourteen (14) day refund window from the initial charge. Within that window, if you have not yet used the contract (sent a proposal to a client, collected a deposit, or exported a clean contract PDF) and your account has not had a BookNox subscription refunded before, by BookNox or by Link, you can request a refund right from your billing dashboard and your first charge is refunded in full to your original payment method, no email required.

If you have already sent a proposal to a client, collected a deposit, or exported a clean contract PDF, if your account has had a BookNox subscription refunded before, by BookNox or by Link, or if the window has passed, request a refund and we review it by hand. We are reasonable about it. Refunds are processed through Link, the merchant of record for the subscription. Outside the window, refunds are at BookNox’s discretion and may be granted case by case. A refund ends the paid subscription right away and moves your account to the free Build plan.

Because Link is the merchant of record, you can also ask Link support for a refund directly. Link may issue a refund under its own procedures, including in some cases within 60 days of the charge, or if we do not answer Link’s question about your request within 48 hours. A refund includes any sales tax you paid.

Monthly subscription

BookNox is $29 a month, flat, plus applicable sales tax (what that includes), sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe’s affiliate Sold through Link, LLC is the merchant of record for each subscription charge: it issues your receipt and collects and remits any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. You can cancel anytime in your BookNox dashboard, the same way you signed up. Cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access through the end of the current billing period. Partial months are not prorated, and cancellation does not refund prior paid periods unless required by law.

Client payments

Deposits and balances your clients pay are handled through your own Stripe account as direct charges: the funds go to you, not BookNox, and BookNox does not unilaterally refund client payments. Refunds to your clients are governed by the signed agreement between you and your client, and you issue them through your own Stripe dashboard under your own cancellation terms.

How to request

The fastest way is the Request a refund button on your billing dashboard, which handles a clean, in-window refund instantly. You can also email support@booknox.com from the email address on your BookNox account, or ask Link support, since Link sold you the subscription. Approved subscription refunds are processed through Link to your original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Receipts and your card statement

Receipts, invoices, and refund confirmations for the subscription are emailed to you by Link, not by BookNox. The charge appears on your card statement as LINK.COM* BOOKNOX.COM. You can see your order, cancel, or update your payment method on the Link website at link.com, as well as in your BookNox billing dashboard. If you checked out as a guest, Link asks you to create a Link account with the same email address to manage the order there.
