How it flows
Client to Stripe to your bank.
BookNox uses Stripe Connect Express. You authorize Stripe once (KYC + bank link). After that, every deposit your prospects pay flows directly to your bank account. BookNox is not in the money path.

Prospect signs + pays in the same flow
Stripe Elements renders inside your BookNox proposal page. Methods available depend on the device (Apple Pay on iOS, Google Pay on Android, card and ACH everywhere).

Stripe charges + holds briefly
Stripe verifies the payment and clears it through the card network or ACH rails. Standard Stripe processing applies — the same rate you’d pay running Stripe directly.

Funds deposit to your bank
On Stripe’s standard payout schedule, the funds land in the bank account you connected during onboarding. BookNox never holds your money.
Methods supported
Pay the way your client wants to pay.
- Card
- Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover. Stripe’s standard 2.9% + 30¢.
- ACH (US bank account)
- 1.5% (capped). Best for larger deposits where the card fee would hurt. Takes 3-5 days to clear.
- Apple Pay / Google Pay
- One-tap from iPhone or Android. Same fee as card. Conversion rate is meaningfully higher than typed card entry — especially for mobile inquiries.
Fees
No BookNox per-booking skim.
You pay $29/month for BookNox and Stripe’s standard processing rate per transaction. That’s it. No 1% or 2% platform fee skimmed from each booking on top.
On a $4,000 booking, BookNox costs you $29 that month, flat. HoneyBook’s Starter is the same $29 — but they also take $116.25 out of the booking on top. We don’t take any of it.
Disputes + refunds
Stripe handles it. You stay in control.
Stripe’s standard dispute resolution and refund process apply. BookNox doesn’t auto-refund a client on a dispute — you make the call. The signed contract + the BookNox audit trail go straight to Stripe’s evidence pack if you contest.
Pair it with the calendar.
The moment payment clears, BookNox creates the event on your calendar and emails the ICS invite to your client.
