Refunds, chargebacks & disputes

Because you're the merchant of record for your client payments, refunds, chargebacks, and the taxes on that revenue are yours to manage, the same as anywhere you take cards. BookNox never moves your money on its own.

Refunds

BookNox doesn't auto-refund anyone. If you decide to refund a client, you do it through Stripe's standard refund process. Whether and how much is your call.

Refunds of your own BookNox subscription are a separate thing: see the Refund Policy at booknox.com/refunds (the contractual terms live in the Terms of Use, section 4).

Chargebacks and disputes

If a client disputes a charge, Stripe's normal dispute process applies. BookNox isn't a party to it, but the record you need is already captured.

Your evidence

Every signed proposal carries an audit trail you can use to build a Stripe evidence pack: the client's name and email, their IP and device, the consent and signature timestamps, the SHA-256 hash of the signed PDF, and the document's token ID.
