A booking is usually split into a deposit up front and a balance later. BookNox handles the math and the reminders so the amounts always match the signed document.

How the deposit is set

Your deposit percentage comes from your pricing catalog. Weddings use a milestone schedule — four equal 25% payments — instead of a single deposit, and the first 25% is the deposit.

How amounts are calculated

Every amount a client pays is computed on our server from the saved proposal — never from anything entered in the browser — so what they pay always equals what the document says.

Balance-due reminders

Balance reminders go out on the cadence set in your contract template. Clients can pay by card, ACH, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, and the funds land directly in your own bank through Stripe — BookNox never holds them.
