Connect Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar means every paid booking lands on your calendar automatically — no manual entry. It's one of the onboarding steps, and your booking page won't go live until it's done.
What connecting does
You authorize BookNox once, through Google's standard sign-in. BookNox only writes to your primary calendar — it doesn't read your existing events and has no access to your email. The connection (a refresh token) is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
What happens when a client books
As soon as a client's deposit clears, BookNox creates a calendar event with the title, date, time, duration, location, and a link back to the proposal. The client is also emailed a standard ICS invite (RFC 5545) that imports cleanly into Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect anytime from your dashboard, or from your Google Account under Connected apps. Disconnecting stops new events from being created; it doesn't remove events already on your calendar.
